Saturday – 9/30 – 10 am – 4 pm
Sunday – 10/1 – 10 am – 2 pm

ITEMS THAT ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE PLACED IN THE DUMPSTER:
GRASS/WEEDS, FLUORESCENT BULBS, BRUSH,
RECYCLABLES, CARDBOARD OR BOXES, **BATTERIES,
**APPLIANCES, 55 GALLON BARRELS/DRUMS, PAINT,
COMPUTERS/TV’S, FLUORESCENT FIXTURES, **OIL,
LEAVES, HAZARDOUS/INFECTIOUS MATERIALS OR THEIR CONTAINERS

**Note:
Oil & Batteries can be brought in and have to place them in a separate area.
No Freon or hazardous containing appliances (refrigerators, ac units, etc.), microwaves or dehumidifiers’ s. Other appliance can be placed in the recycling dumpster.

Residents that would like a mattress or box spring picked up from the curb are required to first put them in a waterproof plastic or vinyl storage/disposal bag.
Cotton mattress protectors are not acceptable, it needs to be waterproof.

Most places that sell moving materials and stores that sell bed sheets sell the storage bags. They are typically marketed as a storage bag for when you’re moving, or as a protector against allergens. Average costs range from $10-$20, depending on where they’re purchased .

Brooklyn Summer Reading Program – Dane County Library Service

BUILD A BETTER WORLD
Readers of all ages are invited to join.
Register starting the second week of June and complete your reading record by the last week in August.

Youth Summer Reading Program.
Children 15 and under, may set their own reading goals (suggested goal: ten books or ten hours). The Summer Reading Program allows children to earn a small prize and a free pass to the Madison Mallards, Eugster’s Farm Market, Dan County Fair, Schuster’s Farm.

Adult Summer Reading Program. Complete a slip for each book read – novel, cookbook, poetry, magazine, travel – they all count! Each slip enters you in a WEEKLY drawing for a Barnes & Noble gift card. All participants will be entered in the grand prize drawing for Kindle Fire: June 12 – July 29.

SPECIAL EVENT, JULY 27th, 6:30 pm
Noelle Tarrant of ZOOZORT brings live animals from different parts of the work for a hands-on interactive program. Children will learn about natural animal behavior emphasizing habitat, nutrition, conservation and appreciation, sparking an interest that will last a lifetime.
